Our Christmas concert with the Holme Valley Singers last Sunday was a resounding success and we were fortunate to enjoy the company of a fantastic audience. Our concert, ‘Soul of the Romantics’, allowed HVO to showcase some excellent musicianship. Under the assured direction of Andrew Griffiths, the orchestra captured the essence of Romanticism in a well-balanced and engaging programme.

We enjoyed a wonderful evening of Christmas music at the Wooldale Arms and raised close to £150 for the charity ‘Music and the Deaf’.

Wow, what a fantastic concert on Saturday! Thank you to everyone who contributed and a special big thanks to our wonderful audience whose singing lent the event a truly community atmosphere. Well done everyone and watch out here for some festive videos of the occasion
