Our Spring concert was a great success: ‘Around the World with Holme Valley Orchestra’ — a musical journey across continents in one unforgettable afternoon. Here is a short montage of highlights from the concert.
- The Fountain
We had a very enjoyable evening on Jan 7th at the Fountain at Ingbirchworth, our annual winter social event. Our quizmaster Steve, had assembled a brain-tingling set of questions, which kept everyone busy in-between courses. The food was delicious and the service excellent – thanks to all the staff at the venue and also to those at HVO who organised the evening!

- 21 December 25 – The Valley Christmas Special
Our Christmas concert with the Holme Valley Singers last Sunday was a resounding success and we were fortunate to enjoy the company of a fantastic audience. Thanks go to everyone who helped with the event and a special mention for Jim Morgan, who stepped in to conduct at the last minute. Here’s a short video . . .
- 10 December 25 – Carols & Barrels
What a wonderful, festive evening we had last Wednesday at the Wooldale Arms! The orchestra played beautifully and we were accompanied by some fantastic singers in the audience. The event raised £200 for our chosen charity, Yorkshire Youth and Music. Thanks to all who helped make the evening a big success
4th July – The Hunstman Inn Greenfield Road, Holmfirth. More events will be posted soon. Watch this space!
