10 December 25 – Carols & Barrels
What a wonderful, festive evening we had last Wednesday at the Wooldale Arms! The orchestra played beautifully and we were accompanied by some fantastic singers in the audience. The event raised £200 for our chosen charity, Yorkshire Youth and Music. Thanks to all who helped make the evening a big success

18 October 25 – The Soul of Romantics
Our concert, ‘Soul of the Romantics’, allowed HVO to showcase some excellent musicianship. Under the assured direction of Andrew Griffiths, the orchestra captured the essence of Romanticism in a well-balanced and engaging programme.

10 May 25 VE Day 80th Anniversary
Wow!! What a phenomenal VE Day concert we had yesterday . . . we were honoured to welcome WWII veteran Richard Styan, now aged almost 102, what a wonderful gentleman. Becky Whitlam, our guest solo singer, delivered a beautiful performance of some truly memorable wartime favourites. Our fantastic audience turned out to support us again…
