A huge thank‑you to everyone who joined us for the Holme Valley Orchestra Big TV Pub Quiz Afternoon at the Huntsman Inn — what a warm, lively and thoroughly enjoyable event it turned out to be. Our players kicked things off with short musical clues, keeping everyone on their toes, and some of the quiz rounds definitely prompted a bit of good‑natured head‑scratching. Between questions, the orchestra treated the room to longer musical pieces while teams mulled over their answers — a lovely soundtrack to an afternoon of thinking and laughing together. We had not one but two Conveyor Belt games, with two lucky contestants winning every single prize they managed to remember. And in our musical twist on a classic, ‘Play Your Notes Right’, two more winners walked away with a bottle of bubbly. All in all, it was a wonderful, warm, inclusive afternoon filled with music, fun, and community spirit. Thank you for being part of it — we can’t wait to do it again.
